VBF: YOUR COMMENTS NEEDED ON THE DRAFT OF NEW LAW ON IMPORT AND EXPORT TARIFFS
For your comments and feedback, please find:

Furthermore, the drafting team also expects to hear businesses’ opinion and comments on the below listed categories:
1. Blended tax
- Should blended tax be included in the law?
- What does international practices say about this?
2. Quota duty
- Should quota duty be included in the law?
- What does international practices say about this?
3. Protective, anti-dumping, anti-discrimination, anti-subsidy tariff
- These tariffs are now provided for in Ordinances. How can they be addressed in the law? If yes, what part should be included in the law?
- What does international practices say about this?
4. Tariffs policies for imported goods used for production of exports
- Is tariffs exemption available on importation, or is refund only available after exportation?
- What are the practices of other countries in handling these products?
5. Imports of goods for investment projects
- Are current laws and regulations on imports of goods for investment projects reasonable (Article 16.6, current Law on Imports and Exports Tariffs )? What can be added to make it easier for implementers?
- What does experience of other countries say about this?
6. Tax rebate criteria for temporary imports/re-exports and temporary exports/re-imports
- How long should temporary imports/re-exports and temporary exports/re-imports be allowed to make it easier for implementers?
- What does experience of other countries say about this?
7. Tariff policies applicable to goods imported from other countries to non-tariff zones, and goods exported from within the country to non-tariff zones
- What does experience of other countries say about this?
